Your role
Are you a multitasker? Are you confident when juggling multiple projects? We're looking for someone like you to:
- help our team to lead major offshoring and outsourcing initiatives
- manage sourcing projects during the Outsourcing Due-Diligence process from the Feasibility Assessment, through all the Outsourcing Due-Diligence process phases, to the final approval of the project
- consult business sourcing projects and support them to get the right level of information in place to be able to complete the Outsourcing Due-Diligence Process completed in an efficient way as well as enabling the timely delivery of the strategic initiatives
- ensure compliance with UBS Operational Risk requirements and related reporting standards
Your team
You’ll be part of the Group Sourcing Team. We are a global team responsible for leading outsourcing and offshoring programs and projects to drive change across the firm.
Your experience and skills
- a university degree and worked in risk assessment areas or as a management consultant, preferred in the financial industry
- strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Project)
- an understanding what it takes to run outsourcing/offshoring projects
- an understanding of legal and data protection laws in different countries
- good time management skills, effective prioritization of work and able to work flexibly by leveraging a hands-on mindset
- the ability to quickly absorb information and understand the context of each task
- a strong attention to details
- experienced in managing expectations of stakeholders incl. senior management
- able to manage people and objectives with conflicting priorities across functions, businesses and time zones.
- able to influence decisions and individuals without formal authority
- flexible and able to conduct multi-time zone meetings potentially outside of local business hours
- self-motivated and able to work independently. At the same time you should be a strong believer in being a team player and bring along strong interpersonal skills
