Requirements:
- University degree in Finance/ Accounting
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a management role (including staff management)
- Experience in managing a team (min. 30 - 50 staff members)
- Experience with change management as well as working in a multicultural and international environment
- Understanding of relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management
- Experience in business process standardization
- Customer orientation and intercultural competence
- Drive for results and demonstrate a decisive coaching leadership style
Responsibilities:
- Managing the O2C team for the countries serviced by the Finance SSC
- Managing and monitoring the O2C process performance meeting the SLA and defined KPIs
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures for the O2C stream
- Timely and properly escalating and follow up all issues
- Highlight training needs for staff and support the personal development of the team
- Organizing periodic meetings with the finance team to follow up on performance of Collections and AR activities
- Identify, analyze and resolve recurring performance problems and implementing improvement activities
- Ensure that the daily banking and allocations are accurately processed and allocated
- Ensure the ageing and other open issues are followed up timely
- Ensure Bad Debt provisions are properly reviewed and approved before posting
- Manages monthly closing of financial records and create month end reports for management review
- Ensure checklists of the team members are monthly reviewed and signed off
- Support the development of the O2C process on identification and recommendation of improvements in internal controls and automation of tasks
- Ensuring formal process documentation
- Identify and report all risk and compliance issues
- Willingness and ability to travel including international trips (25%)
- Knowledge of ERP system
- Fluent English is a must
