Responsibilities:
- We are currently recruiting highly skilled Oracle developers who will be more focused on database design and load development, performance tuning, etc. Cognos experience would be a plus but is not essential.
- Responsibilities
- Work closely with architects and designers to deliver high quality software;
- Analyze application problems, recommend and develop solutions;
- Produce and maintain program code and documentation;
- Conduct peer reviews with other software developers and architects;
- Participate in development stand ups and software demonstrations;
- Review requirements with the users and provide time estimates for task completion
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Information Technology;
- 3+ years of experience Data Modeling;
- 5+ years of experience developing on Oracle databases, PL/SQL programming, recent experience developing on Oracle 11G;
- 3+ years of experience developing in UNIX;
- 5+ years of experience using TOAD or similar tools;
- Must have 3 to 5 years full life cycle development experience;
- Must have the ability to write technical software design documentation;
- Strong expertise in performance tuning;
- Must have experience in ETL tools (Oracle ODI a plus);
- Experience in Cognos BI a plus.
