Oracle AP Functional Analyst

As the AP Functional Analyst as part of the Oracle Functional Support (OFS), you’ll be actively engaged in:
- AP Support of Global users on various AP related issues
- Research of issues submitted by users to determine root cause, solution, and future prevention.
- Working with key AP stakeholders to bridge the gap between Functional and IT and drive and support best practices across the group.
- Acting as a “gatekeeper” by reviewing enhancement requests and helping manage and mitigate risks to the system and core business processes
- Implementation/Data conversion support for AP including requirements gathering, transactional data conversions and, where required, conducting user training and support.
- Management of and/or execution of test plans for fixes or enhancements which require a system change including, but not limited to, the modification of existing process, code, patching or other new developments.
- Driving improvements and enhancements in collaboration with other functional groups including, PA, GL, PO and Supplier Management.
- Representing the OFS team in ad-hoc projects that impact AP systems, data and processes
- Providing support and advice where appropriate for other AP related activities, such as Master Data Management and compliance activities
Key skills & attributes for success:
- Working functional knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 application
- General broad knowledge of Accounts Payable activities
- An aptitude for learning, analytical and critical thinking
- Ability to be flexible and effectively balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proficient computer skills using MS Office tools, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc)
- Ability to effectively engage with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including communicating complex technical concepts to users and management
- Proactive, problem solving mindset
- An ability and willingness to grow and evolve in the role
- Ability to attend virtual calls in global time zones (twice per week: at 9:00pm and 10:00pm)
