We are looking for you if:
- You are an open minded person and willing to work on an intersting, yet challenging product,
- You know how to use Python for backend development,
- You posses working experience with containers (Openshift preferred),
- You know your way around CD/CI with specific technologies like GIT or Azure DevOps,
- You had prior experience of any kind with NiFi.
You'll get extra points for:
- Knowledge of Kafka,
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch,
- Knowledge of Cassandra,
- Knowledge of Apache Atlas.
- Knowledge of Java.
Information about squad:
The squad is located both in Poland and in the Netherlands. The squad's purpose is to setup a communication bus for the a new product, called Global Monitoring Data Pipeline, and products related i.e. Giraffe, which is a Data Catalogue solution. The challenges are plenty and it's the squad's task to make it happen, together with the support of Product Owner and Chapter Lead.

Tasks:
20%- Upgrade OpenSource software
20%- Find and resolve bugs while upgradingOpenSource software
20%- Make it all secure according to ING standards(IT controls under control)
20%- Develop backend solution where applicable(typically Python)
10%- Sometimes analyse the code of a new piece ofSoftware to get to know what has happened
10%- Cooperate with our colleagues from othersquads
