Onsite Technical Engineer

Your Task
Hemmersbach provide the support services needed by many of the world’s largest organisations. You will work directly onsite to provide dedicated and highly - focused support services for deskside and print.
This is a role where you will have direct influence on people’s day-to-day working life. With nothing more frustrating than a computer or a printer not working, you will be very person that makes things happen, working directly with the users in a highly rewarding way.
- Testing, identifying, repairing, resolving and documenting end user technical issues regarding basic network/desktop support, printers, PDSAs, BlackBerrys and Lan cable drops
- Troubleshooting and resolving software issues, remaining computers/hard drives
- Backing up and restoring settings and associated systems administration activates
- Categorize and prioritize End user support and service requests by utilizing a Remedy ticketing system to track tickets and provide up-to-date status and information
- Move equipment associated with escalated help desk incidents and service requests
- Working with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software
Our requirements:
- Very good knowledge of English and Polish (spoken and written)
- Strong Break / Fix skills: Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks, Laptops and Printers
- Microsoft operating system installation and troubleshooting skills
- Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Detail- oriented, problem solving orientation and good communication skills
- Strong customer/people service skills A friendly, engaging and professional demeanor as a primary “face” of Hemmersbach
- Broad experience of IT and good understanding of Networks, Servers and Telecoms, LAN/WLAN
- Previous Experience (including remote control of PCs and video conferencing knowledge) on similar position
