This position will support the HR team in building the best onboarding experience for every new hire at IBM. The Onboarding Success Partner will be responsible to craft a signature experience that is both informative, engaging and ensures a warm welcome & strong start at IBM. This role is an integral part of the HR Talent Acquisition team and works cross-functionally with other areas of Human Resources including Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators. The role of Onboarding is integral for preparing the new hire for their IBM career and to ensure that everything is ready for their arrival at IBM on day 1.

Scope of Duties:
- Lead and run all day-to-day operations for onboarding
- First point of contact for new employee and hiring manager from offer accept through onboarding
- Facilitating paperwork completion and processing e.g. work permits, medical checks
- Ensure employee data collected at onboarding stage reaches HR system and Personal Administration Team in a timely manner
- Efficiently answer queries from candidates, hiring managers and talent acquisition partners
- Responsible for appropriate follow-up of each required element in the onboarding process
- Bring new ideas to the table to continuously improve the process
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or or equivalent working experience
- Min 2 years experience in P2P or GL
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Strong analytical skills - to rigorously and effectively examine large quantities of data and derive insights from these data sets.
- Superb customer-oriented attitude
- Exceptionally fast learner, curious about best solutions and practices
- Fluent command of English
- Proven track record of proactively and independently designing data analyses and insights to support financial planning and spend management
- Strong written and verbal communication – to communicate across process teams and report on findings
- Sense of ownership of assigned tasks
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Good to have:
- Basic SQL script experience
- Advanced Excel skills including but not limited to pivots, vlookups, hlookups, creating charts, use of other built in functions fluency in MS Excel
- Must have extensive familiarity with data management principles and practices, including data management and data security policy.
- Comfortable using standard office software as well as Database software (SQL, Microsoft Server)
- Professional experience preferably related with accounting
