Job description
- Ownership of the business development strategy
- Setting sales objectives, projects expenses, sales volume and profit
- Responsibility for the annually representative sales budget (around 0,5 mln PLN)
- Identifying business expansion opportunities, analyzing market potential and targetting new business
- Proactive expanding a network using various online and offline tools and channels, including but not limited to: organizing and attending IT-related events and workshops, conducting research, and gathering referrals
- Negotiations and signing deals with new clients
- Motivating, guiding and mentoring Sales Team
- Leading Senior Executives through strategic key challenges, options, and possibilities
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitors’ activities and developing sound market knowledge
- Being a part of a thought leadership community - writing informative blog posts, articles, and presentations
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales (ideally in the IT sector)
- 3+ years of experience of directly managing a business development or sales (preferably managing a team of 2+ people)
- Advanced level of English in writing and speaking is a must-have
- Proven business development, sales track record in the USA / UK / EU and solid knowledge of the IT markets (a strong network of contacts and established relationships would be a plus)
- Practical knowledge of the digital market and custom software development market
- Proven track record in setting and implementing a business strategy from scratch for new markets, including new countries and/or industries
- Demonstrating of ability to forecast sales and execute sales plans
- Self-motivation, initiative, and high energy
- Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions
