Job Description
The Network Technical Architect is typically account based providing technical design, assurance and consultationin the support of solutions, projects and service for one or more accounts.
This role is part of a Technical Architecture team responsible for the Technical Design and Assurance of the customer's Network and Security infrastructure. To do this involves building upa detailed and in-depth understanding of the customer's infrastructures, systems and applications and being aware of any new or inflight projects orchanges.
The following are the major responsibilities of theSenior Network Technical Architect:
- Be the Technical Authority for Networks and Security
- Work closely with the Lead Architect to help develop an account technical strategy and roadmap.
- Support the Lead Architect inthe Technical Assurance process by attending Account Technical Assurance Boardsas an approver.
- Acquire a detailedunderstanding of the customer's business needs, technologies, key applicationsand network and security infrastructure
- Provide Network consultancy to the Account and Client as required.
- Ensure that Networks & Security are taken into account in all new solutions
- Produce High Level Designs (HLD) to meet client project requirements in compliance with companys CTO standards and strategy.
- Provide Network technical input into Business Office proposals ensuring that the solution satisfies the customer's requirements and is compliant with company standards.
- Identify and propose ServiceImprovements, Cost Reductions and Revenue Opportunities
- Abilityto converse clearly in English language written and verbal.
- Must hold CCIE/CCDP or have equivalent technical ability andexperience
- Must hold JNCIE/NCIP or have equivalent technical ability andexperience
- Must be able to undertake and gain BPSS Security Clearance orequivalent.
- Abilityto analyse and understand the needs of clients
- The ability to identify new potential business opportunities within thecustomer's organisation
- Ability to envisage, design and create bespoke innovative technologicalsolutions that will enable our customers to achieve their goals.
- Capableof interacting with stakeholders at all levels. Able to gain respect, trust andconfidence of senior management, partners and clients in all situations.
- Willing to travel as necessary inline with business needs (Europe)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
