Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of international experience in SSC/BPO organizations
  • Strong experience in process transition, preferably on Team Leader level
  • Experience in leading teams in BPO/SSC environment
  • Excellent command of English
  • Good command of German will be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent persuasion, team management and conflict resolution skills
  • Intercultural and problem-solving competence
  • Readiness to travel (up to 100% of the time)

Responsibilities:

  • Run initial migration assessment studies for potential candidates and provide migration recommendation to the management
  • Plan the detail of the migration activities with the overall Migration Lead/ Senior Migration Manager as well as with the local transition team and center mobilization experts
  • Create and sign-off the migration milestone plans for each of the transition waves and on-going monitoring. Adapt migration approach to changing conditions and requirements
  • Assists the LGBS operations in designing on-time receiving organization and monitor the adequate staffing and qualification of the future functional team. Consult the retiring company in planning the adequate organizational interfaces and related requirements
  • Plan task allocation to resources and set priorities in conjunction with the Migration Lead/ Senior Migration Manager
  • Drive the gap analysis between as-is and to-be processes to its successful sign off in order to ensure that entity/ country specifics are accounted for in the new processes
  • Lead the development and execution of the migration readiness plan, which documents when the country is set for the migration, as well as the knowledge transfer plan, which ensures that the new LGBS colleagues learn all the necessary process knowledge
  • Report migration status to the migration lead on a weekly basis, based on updated detailed plans
  • Establish strong working relationships with the local Business and Functional Management
  • Liaise with SSC management team to clarify interfaces to SSC-owned activities
  • Development, Coordination and Steering of the operational Transition Team Members of the Service Centers
  • Provides operational interface for project internal communication and alignment (re Service Management, IT, HR Recruiting, Training, Infrastructure)
  • Adhering to corresponding time and cost/ budget restrictions  

 

The Migration Manager will be responsible for the entire migration of a respective processes scope from a certain Lufthansa Group entity to Lufthansa Global Business Services throughout the complete migration cycle of preparation, transition, and stabilization phase. In this role, you will drive the detailed planning, co-ordination and execution of all activities relating to transitioning the processes in scope and cooperate closely with the involved work streams and departments. You will coordinate international projects (LGBS and group-wide) at on-site and center locations. You will provide functional and disciplinary guidance to employees which have been assigned to you.
