Common Shared Services (CSS) is an organization that provides expert transactional business services to Hitachi Energy out of five centers spread across the globe.
Our services encompass Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management and Trade Transport and Logistics. The internal clients benefit from a CSS organization that leverages the economy of scale enabling investment in people, processes and technology. This drives continuous improvement of productivity and service quality, which ultimately helps the Business Units to be more successful on the market. That is the Common Shared Services’ contribution to fulfilling our overarching organizational mission: Advancing a sustainable energy future for all. - Play a critical role in developing the vision and strategy of overall CSS (from a systems, process, compliance, policy and procedures perspective) as member of the CSS leadership team
- Establish and maintain effective communication, engagement and cross Function collaboration
- Represents CSS (cross Function) in meetings, negotiations and /or task forces with internal and external stakeholders
- Run regular/formal governance meetings (cross Function)
- Manage monthly P&L cost and budgeting for the CSS hub
- Challenge status quo and champion new ideas (cross-Function related)
- Provide CSS industry specific external benchmarking and best practices
- Define and keep CSS Business Continuity Management process in place
- Ensure that necessary CSS support functions are in place, sufficiently staffed and effective
- Run an efficient talent acquisition process and facilitate onboarding process of new joiners
- Run employer branding initiatives, establish foot print in the CSS environment and build relationship with key players on the market
- Facilitate operations of the R&D and Technology center in collaboration with PGGA and the Chief Technology Officer
- Represent the Krakow Service Center (CSS, Technology Center and R&D center) in the Polish leadership team)
- Scope: CSS Functions, R&D and Technology Center (Krakow)
- Engagement with senior management as key stakeholders
- Management span: ~1000 internal and ~800 external resources
- People engagement in a very competitive labor market
- Management of a very diverse Stakeholder portfolio
- Constantly improve productivity and service quality
- Represent the specific Center needs in a global HE environment
- Superior Communication and Stakeholder Management skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to engage large teams of people and enable them to develop/ change their approach
- Experience in working within a matrix organization, able to influence people without direct reporting lines
- Champion for continuous quality improvement Master’s degree in Management or other related fields
- Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience (CSS leadership) and 10 years’ experience in managerial roles (matrix organization)
- Fluent in Polish and English, other European languages are a plus
- Cultural sensitivity and work experience in an international environment
