Join our Engineering Turbine System team as a Mechanical Designer (Level 2):
We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional, to join our Turbine Systems, Mechanical Group. The Design Engineer will be responsible for design and verification of modern industrial mechanical hardware that is used to monitor and control gas / steam turbines in gas / steam fuel systems in Large Scale Fixed Installations like Power Stations or Refineries.

- Design of moderate to high complexity Electro-Hydraulic operated products
- Interfaces and communicate with Manufacturing, Assembly&Test and Procurement as well as with components vendors to ensure designs are suitable and allow for efficient manufacture (according to Design for Excellence - DFx methodologies). Provide manufacturing support as required
- Determine geometric and dimensioning analysis(stack-up) for design with technical report
- Identifies customer's requirement by an analysis of the customer technical specifications and implements appropriate solutions
- Responsible for selection standard catalog components
- Manages and schedules drawings list and 3D model package to be submitted to Customers
- Is responsible of the drawings quality issued to customers
- Prepare component layouts, conceptual, sketch and detail design for New Product or modifications in “Standard”
- Create and manage Bill of Materials, Specify parts and Features required for Equipment functionality (Joints, machine elements, sealing, mechanism)
- Assist in providing timescale estimates in the compilation of project plans and milestones for all mechanical design activities
- Evaluate design alternatives and selecting optimum solution
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Ability to effectively communicate in English and Polish languages
- More than 3 years of proven experience in industry
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and changing requirements to meet the schedule
- Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment incl. cross-competence teams
- Great understanding of 3D applications (CREO is preferred)
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics
- Great knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and Stack up study analysis
- Great understanding of manufacturing processes of mechanical parts
- Teamwork abilities
- Proven experience in Design Engineering of new product introduction projects
- Proven experience in AGILE project management methodology
- Working knowledge of Engineering Data Base System (Windchill) and ERP (WISE)
- Working knowledge of electro-hydraulic Servovalves
- Working knowledge of Hydraulic Actuators (Single/Double Acting)
- Working knowledge of Metering Valves, Shut-off Valves, Bypass Valves
