Join our Engineering Team (Aerospace) as a Mechanical Design Engineer:

- Design, support and test of moderate complexity aircraft components
- Creates models and layouts based upon design specifications and engineering analysis
- Creates detailed drawings of parts or subassemblies based upon layouts/models including hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Prepares, maintains and archives documentation such as: bills of materials, test specifications, assembly and outline drawings, procedures and specifications
- Perform stack-up analysis including statistical approach
- Identify appropriate analysis of the mechanical design, identify and minimize risk and liaise with appropriate specialist engineers (Stress, Materials, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Attend or conduct all necessary design reviews
- Ensure the mechanical design meets requirements with regard to technical, cost, weight, reliability, environmental and maintainability criteria.
- Assist in providing timescale estimates in the compilation of project plans and milestones for all mechanical design activities.
- Evaluate design alternatives and selecting optimum solution
- Running performance calculations
- Collect and analyze data to determine areas for product improvement
- Engineer/ Master degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of related professional work experience with Aircraft or Industrial components
- Experience with design of hydraulic/ fueldraulic actuators, oil/ air/ fuel valves, pumps, sensors will be an advantage
- Skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting
- Basic knowledge of Design for Six Sigma tools and methodologies
- Solid report, technical specification and product manual writing skills
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Good knowledge of English
