Master Scheduler - Niepołomice

In our facility in Niepołomice we are desigining, manufacturing and testing engine controllers and cabinets.
DUTIES:
- Plans and releases Master Production Schedules
- Quotes deliveries dates for sales requests within the defined lead time
- Works with both sales and operations globally to provide timely feedback regarding all requested schedule changes and recommends alternatives on how the requested demand could be satisfied
- Plans and releases work orders in ERP system and follows up MRP messages
- Develops and maintains communication channels between various departments to maintain the production flow rates and assists with possible corrective actions
- Supports transition plans and updates item planning parameters (interplants, material ownership codes, lead times, lot sizes, etc.)
- Actively works on reducing inventory/ lead times and production improvements
- Creates planning Bills Of Material and looks for ways to change their structure to improve production efficiency
- Reviews, identifies and resolves material shortages with the appropriate supplier(s)
- Actively engaged in Continuous Improvement projects
- Analyzing trends, production, efficiencies, etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree
- 2 years of work experience with planning functions/roles
- Understands and maintains a master production schedule with the ability to use and revise that schedule to achieve business objectives
- Understands capacity levels in production
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written across all levels of the organization
- Ability to contribute to Continuous Improvement projects and problem solving
- Solid detail orientation and high organizational skills.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Teamwork abilities
- Analytical skills
- Fluent English skills, additional German skills will be an advantage
- Microsoft Office Suite skills
