Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organization’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Directs the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Organization.
The position reports to the CEO and is the member of senior management team.
Within the Organization, the position has primary working relationships with the Board members, senior management team, staff of the Marketing & PR function and volunteers.
Outside, the position coordinates, primarily, with the media and service providers.

Creating and successfully implementing of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organization’s strategy, image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications

Implementing of all marketing & public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, client acquisition, events, etc.

Development and implementation of the brand strategy in all Organization’s markets

Ensure articulation of Organization’s desired image and position, both internal and external

Steer all brands across the business - lead any company trade show presence, advertising, materials, and digital marketing

Define and identify target audiences and scope value potential of different audience segments and prioritise

Oversee implementation of the marketing strategy - including campaigns, fairs, digital marketing, and PR

Develop and test new marketing mixes to identify innovative and effective solutions to resolve business challenges

Coordinate and connect marketing teams across countries on various campaigns run by the local markets

Manage and grow social media presence

Identify and implement communication strategies across the business

Coordinate and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.

Act as the Organization’s representative with the media

Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment including trends Management of the media agency, database agency, creative agencies and all other external supplier relationships

Guide the day to day activities of the marketing team

Fluent knowledge of English and German

A Master's degree in marketing, communications or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing and communications functions

Ability to inspire and support innovation in marketing and communications on a continual basis

Ability to effectively design and implement communications strategies in a large environment

Experience in developing and managing a brand identity
