Manager of Enterprise IT
Location: Wrocław
Position Summary:

 

We are looking for a passionate and engaging technologist to lead our enterprise IT team in Turkey. The enterprise IT infrastructure is the backbone of our company. It consists of enterprise systems, user support services, infrastructure and logistics networks, and information and data management services.

 

The Manager of Enterprise IT is responsible for IT project management, including identifying requirements, developing strategies and solutions, implementing and continuous improvement of SHEIN’s complex enterprise systems and the supporting business processes and reports. This leader will be a change agent and an innovator. The ability to work with key partners, such as Legal, Security and business segments, as well as third party service providers, is crucial to the success of the enterprise IT function.

 

This leader should have a deep technical understanding of general IT disciplines, including desktops, servers, mobility, network, and data services, as well as experiences in global scale infrastructure deployment. He or she must be familiar with IT industry standards and best practices, and must be able to effectively work with development, engineering, and system counterparts, across a deeply technical environment in all IT areas. This leader will also assist their leadership with ensuring all IT solutions and technologies are properly strategized, supported and sufficiently met the needs for which they are deployed to enable and sustain the continuous growth and success of our company.

 

Core Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the enterprise IT team, consisting of direct and indirect reports (including full time employees, contractors, MSS staff and external service provider personnel). This includes hiring, training, career development, and performance management.
  • Responsible for planning, design, implementation, and ongoing support of IT systems of high complexity to fulfill business needs.
  • Create and update new strategy, project plans and policy documents based on business requests
  • Develop and manage IT budget forecast, expense, and technology, service, and vendor roadmaps.
  • Liaise with external parties, such as third-party service providers, standards and technology organization, advisory bodies and industry and peer working groups as necessary, to ensure that the organization maintains a strong enterprise IT posture and technical congruency.
  • Work directly with business units to facilitate service analysis, solution requirements and technology roadmaps to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization by earning the reputation for being a proactive senior leader and change agent.
  • Sustain high-availability service levels and ensure fulfillment of business-wide service levels and operational support objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise IT and technology field with at least 5 years of direct people management experience.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of engineering, computer science or equivalent advance technology field of study
  • Must be skilled at mentoring and motivating staff, communicating goals and other corporate initiatives and driving to results
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with design, implementation, maintenance, upgrades and operations of multiple enterprise IT disciplines, such desktops, servers, networking, mobility, communication tools, and enterprise billing and collaboration systems.
  • Strong working and practical knowledge of industry IT standards and regulations.
  • Experience with change management lifecycle, development and regular preparation of management status and key metrics reports
  • Ability to manage and work with extremely technical staff working on very sensitive subject areas and with extremely sensitive information
  • High level of personal integrity, with the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exudes the appropriate level of judgment and maturity
  • Must have strong business and financial acumen to make sound business and budgeting decisions.
  • Must be a strong communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication skills to translate the vision and strategy into clear priorities and direction, both internally and externally.

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

 

Field of Study: Computer Engineering or Science, Information Sciences Technology, Management Information System, or related fields

 

Years of Experience: Generally requires 5+ years related experience. 3 or more years in an e-commerce and technology field preferred
