The role is part of Capita Poland’s Financial Accounting team, reporting to the Team Leader – Group Finance Capita Poland.

Managing legal entity- specific tasks:
-
Month-end accounting for centrally managed tasks completed within processing deadlines

Production and submission of monthly reporting packs (using Hyperion MPM) according to a strict deadline

Production of a monthly cash flow statement for submission along with the monthly reporting pack

Reviewing and analysing of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations for balance sheet accounts

Fixed assets accounting and register maintenance on SAP

Production of the year end reporting packs, the companies’ audit files and dealing efficiently with audit queries

Various reporting and analysis requests from management, including from the Head of Group Management Reporting

Have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
-
Are familiar with SAP and Hyperion (considered an asset)

Have partial qualification in a recognised accountancy qualification, such as the ACCA, CIMA, KIBR or equivalent (considered an asset)

Understand accounting month-end close requirements

Understand IFRS accounting standards (knowledge of UK GAAP considered an asset)

Understand the importance and rigour of accurate data and data analysis

Are able to understand complex accounting transactions and how they are processed in financial systems

Hold a BA/BS/MA degree

Are fluent in English (both spoken and written)

Have good IT skills (MS Excel)
