Our client is a multinational FMCG company with finance & accounting shared service in Krakow. The centre supports European locations with: General Ledger (Fixed Assets, Tax Accounting, General Ledger Accounting), Accounts Receivable (Banking / Cash Application, Billing, Credit Risk, Collections and Disputes), and Accounts Payable (Invoice Processing,Query Resolution, Payments). As part of the on-going expansion of their operations in Krakow, they now require Management Accounting and Reporting Analyst:
The role:
In this key role you will transition in and carry out management accounting and reporting activities, specifically management accounting period end close, calculation of business related KPIs, management reporting, liaison with Finance Analysts and provide assistance to Controllers. These processes should be completed in accordance with company guidelines and policies to achieve performance objectives (PPIs) and service levels (SLAs) while at the same contributing to on-going continuous improvement, process standardisation and high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will be required to prepare and/or review management reports,support business analysis process and provide input for closing adjustments. In addition you will ensure monthly management accounting close, WIP, variance calculation, inventory valuation and calculate and/or review business related KPIsin the area of Supply Chain/Commerce/Overheads.
Requirements:
You should hold a University degree, preferably in Business Economics or Accountancy, and hold or be actively studying for an internationally recognized Accountancy Qualification with at least 3 years' experience in Finance and exposure to a controlling/reporting environment. The ideal person should also have:
- A sound knowledge of financial and operational processes
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to effectively manage the relationship with Finance Teams and clients
- Good understanding of ERP Accounting Systems (SAP, Oracle) is desirable
- A sound working knowledge of Ms. Office packages
- Fluency in English and good knowledge of Romanian or Italian
