The team you’ll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
In SCM tribe you will focus on automated processes and solutions for CI/CD/DevOps needs of the Mobile Networks (MN) Business Group. You will deliver services and provide Continuous Integration frameworks for multiple units, including Central CI for the final SW product of MN. You will be responsible for keeping continuity of SW integration and design/implement the MN wide solutions.
What you will learn and contribute to
We are looking for a Working Student to support daily software integration - a process done by the automated systems which put together all the changes in project source code delivered by the developers.
In this job, you will:
- monitor and configure of CI/CD processes
- develop internal tools for CI/CD
- manage version control system GIT/Gerrit
- automate building tools
- investigate the problems and root cause analysis
Your skills and experience
You have:
- status of student of Computer Science or equivalent education and good communication in English
- good knowledge of Linux and Bash
- knowledge of Version Control Systems GIT
It would be nice if you also had:
- CI/CD processes (Jenkins)
- scripting language: Python
- knowledge of software development processes and tools
- ability to: communicate, cooperate, solve problems
