LGV programmer

Job description
Elettric80 is looking for commissioning personnel to meet the fast-growing needs for the systems sold worldwide. The commissioning of our turn-key automation systems, which lasts from few weeks to several months, requires dedicated teams composed with different specialists. Each team is usually coordinated by a project or a site manager and includes different types of technicians. Among them, in detail LGV technician manages the commissioning of the LGV; he should have excellent knowledge of the automatic machines, including tuning of different parameter, handling of the actuators for motors, application of theory for laser navigation, knowledge of the rules to handle the traffic between different vehicles. All this part is made by a ST software language TWINCAT IEC 61131-3 and software tools by E80. His activities range from the implementing of software programs into the LGV to their electrical, mechanical and hydraulic set-up.
Typical working activities for all specialists include also:
- participate at meetings and workshops in order to understand and implement customer needs;
- care about the correct working of safety devices installed on the machines;
- have an overall understanding of the how the E80 systems work;
- remain updated with the latest technology of the relevant domain of activity;
- give documented feedback to relevant technical offices when required.
Requirements
- M. Sc. in computer engineering/electronics/mechatronics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and capabilities to work in team and under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; it will constitute preferential title the knowledge of Italian, French or German.
- Strong technical background, including knowledge on software languages and understanding of electrical schemes for automatic machines.
- Availability to frequent and extended travels worldwide, for minimum 200 days per year.
