Legal Supervisor

Opis stanowiska
As Legal Supervisor you'll lead a team of Credit Suisse professionals, negotiating and facilitating the execution of the contracts that allow the world of derivatives trading to turn. As you would already know, that world revolves around the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) master agreement, which provides the framework for the trade of derivatives internationally.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparing, negotiating terms according to the manual and as directed by other stakeholders and facilitating preparation of execution copies of ISDA master agreements, GMRAs, GMSLAs, and other standard form master agreements, and negotiating amendments to them
- Defining and communicating the outstanding issues arising from the negotiations with the relevant business unit in order to obtain resolution and decisions to be communicated to the third party
- Defining and communicating issues arising from the negotiations to the relevant business group, and to counsel
- Consulting with the Credit Risk Management team, the Collateral Management Unit, and other internal stakeholders
- Supervising other master agreement negotiators and managing the process of finalization of agreements within their client portfolios
- Responding to inquiries about master agreements and counterparties
Wymagania
The role requires:
- English language skills to business standard
- ISDA experience
- Extensive work experience including regular phone and email interaction and negotiation with counterparties
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

You will learn about the Credit Suisse policies and procedures which support this business by speaking both with key stakeholders in Credit Suisse and with their counterparties, first to define and then to balance the needs of both sides. You'll be trained by a senior employee from the New York office and, because this is a global team with varied expertise, this is a chance to develop your knowledge across the business. More than that, you'll develop as a leader by managing the client portfolios of other negotiators to ensure their agreements are accurate and completed on time.
