Responsibilities
• Identifies emerging learning content formats to enhance the customer learning experience by creating technology that is relevant and industry competitive
• Develops and maintains knowledge regarding trends and best practices for learning solutions in the industry
• Provides end-to-end project management of technology migration, product or tools development by using resources in the implementation team
• Serves as a coach or mentor for other Learning organization employees and has the responsibility for change management of technology migration, product or tools implementation by engaging relevant resources
• Serves as a strategic adviser and expert to the Learning senior management by presenting well-thought-out and imaginative recommendations in regards to best practices and future directions of the Learning organization
• Collaborates closely and shares knowledge with peers to investigate, recommend and / or implement changes to the Learning organization business model and overall strategy
• Identifies technology or product synergies between the Learning organization and the rest of MSI
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
• Experience working with documentation and/or training in a strategy, project management, or product owner position
• Knowledge of learning industry standards and practices
• Experience with any major aspect of content creation or delivery: DITA, CMSes, LMSes, Captivate, DocBook, MarkDown, XML, XSL, video, etc.
• Experience establishing or implementing content strategy
• Big-picture thinking and being oriented on strategy
• Excellent communication skills in English
