Procurement Shared Services Center (PSSC) based in Łódź, Poland, is part of global Philips Procurement. Under the umbrella of Royal Philips, Philips Procurementmanages and performs sourcing and procurement activities for (indirect) goods and services for Philips.

Your challenge:
eSourcing is a faster, more transparent way of facilitating tenders and conducting negotiations online which leads to cost and time reduction. Working from the Procurement Shared Services Centre in Poland you will be creating and monitoring online tenders acting as a first-line support for users and an administrator of the eSourcing platform. The position offers an interaction with whole Philips Procurement community as well as external parties worldwide.
Your responsibilities:

Processing requests for online tenders creation:
-
technical support for setting up different types of online tenders including RFI, RFQ and eAuction
-
advising on best practices and functionalities which enable efficient tool usage
-
monitoring ongoing tenders
-
solving urgent issues faced by system users during the tender
-
generating reports after concluding the tender
-
Providing technical support for system users: Internal Customers and External Suppliers
-
Providing extensive trainings for system users
-
Promoting online sourcing solutions among Philips community
-
Monitoring the quality of the process and initiating improvements
-
Administrating eSourcing platform (Ariba)
-
Delivering service related reports and analysis

Conducting communication with business clients with regards to the service
We are looking for people with:
-
Graduate with Bachelor or equivalent degree
-
Fluent English (both written and spoken) is a must
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience within procurement area
-
Minimum 3 years’ of professional experience in administrating online tender tools (experience with Ariba will be an additional asset)

Customer service experience is required

Professional experience within conducting trainings
-
Strong communication skills/confident to communicate with all levels/different cultural backgrounds

High level of attention to details

Highly developed analytical thinking skills

Computer literacy essential and experience in MS office applications (Excel, Power Point)
