Junior Product Development Manager (IT)

Requirements:
- Computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline degree
- 5-8 years progressive experience in a B2B systems integration, e-commerce, online product management, reporting and deep understanding of data-driven projects
- IT Project Management/ Scrum Masters role experience
- Perfect English (both verbal and written) to be used in communication with co-workers from 52 countries in EMEA region
- Demonstrate a strong technically online/mobile product development knowledge, e-commerce background
- System integration (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) knowledge would be an advantage
- Software development skills from the past (PHP, .NET, Java or other) needed to supervise and monitor development team and project progress
- Must have a strong understanding and/ or previous working knowledge of HTML (XHTML, HTML5) and CSS3 in past or working knowledge of Javascript, Flash and other industry standard front-end technologies desirable
- familiarity with a number of CMS platforms (Wordpress, drupal, Joomla)
- Mobile technology - app building experience native or hybrid advantageous
- Strong familiarity with Agile and user stories
- Experience with a number of e-commerce applications
- Experience with rolling out of products & project management
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills
- Proven track record of supervising/managing staff
- Knowledge and history of applying email marketing best practices such as segmentation and testing, targeting, deliverability, etc.
- Must have demonstrated advanced proficiency in Adobe Web Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat Pro. Working knowledge of InDesign and Illustrator is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Be operationally focused in the day to day projects/teams within the company
- Manage multiple projects across multiple teams & verticals
- Hands on management focused on meeting deadlines and deliverables of design, rolling out, training, support and enhancement of multiple projects across the region in order to enhance users experience
- Ensuring that processes are followed to the dot across multiple verticals, taking into account that much of this work is accomplished through a cross functional effort throughout the company which requires actively engaging with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance and other technical departments to achieve quality of results
- Might have supervisor responsibilities (meetings/ calls and team management based on Agile and Scrum best practices)
- Interacts with all levels throughout the internal organization and external companies for technology and technical processes & products
- Provide feasibility study to analyse whether a project will drive sales whilst keeping the company protected. To analyse whether the project will enhance users efficiencies
- Develop Product Requirements - responsible for gathering, understanding and defining both the functional and non-functional requirements necessary to meet the needs of the market
- Develop User Requirements - responsible for gathering, understanding and defining both the functional and non-functional requirements necessary to meet the needs of the internal stakeholders & distributors to maximize the efficiency of implementing new products, programs, and tools
- Market support: To ensure all requirements from the market are appropriate filtered and fixed accordingly
- Compile Use Cases - Draft and write use cases. Use cases will be written to bring clarity to any requirements for both the business and technical stakeholder associated with the project. Knowledge of TFS and Agile processes is a must
- Issue Resolution - Product Development Managers will field and answer all questions from business and technical stakeholders to bring clarity to requirements
- Testing - Though not responsible for UAT or QA, the Product Development Manager is accountable for ensuring that delivery matches intended features and functionality
- Project Stewardship be responsible to see projects through from end-to-end
- Communications - provide constant product communication to internal and external stakeholders/distributors. Experience needed with Exact Target
