Capita is currently recruiting motivated individuals into the Group Company Secretarial project in Krakow for the position of:
Junior Corporate Governance Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Providing company secretarial services to external client companies and to Capita plc (under the guidance of more senior colleagues)
- Dealing with UK statutory and regulatory compliance (drafting minutes of Board of Directors, resolutions and shareholder written resolutions, drafting statutory forms to be filed at
- Companies House, maintenance of company statutory registers, maintenance of consumer credit and data protection licences, liaising with overseas parties to ensure compliance across different jurisdictions)
- Supporting corporate transactions and board processes
- Preparation and release of stock exchange announcements
- Managing corporate data on GEMS company secretarial software and other media
- Building internal networks and business relationships and assisting in business development opportunities
- Developing technical knowledge and practical capabilities through attendance and participation in training events, self-driven research and day to day exposure to company secretarial workflows
Required skills:
- Fluency in English (C1 level); practical knowledge of English for business and finance
- Familiarity with Legal English terminology considered an asset
- University degree in Law, Business, Economics or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen eye for detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with IT technologies (MS Office, Excel)
