We are looking for a Business Controller for Eurofins Environment Laboratory in Poland.
The position is based in Katowice.
The Business Controller will work closely with the Business Line Leader and Business Unit Managers of the Environment Business Line and fulfil a range of responsibilities under their guidance.
They will be in charge of ensuring the financial reliability and accuracy of all reports provided and preparing in-depth analysis and advice to local and regional management. In this respect, they might provide financial and business controlling studies supporting strategic decisions.
1 Financial Reporting
- Monthly performance review (Cash Flow, NWC, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, etc. Prepare corrections/adjustments as necessary in collaboration with National Service Center
2 Budget and Forecast
- Organisation and preparation of annual budget
- Organisation and preparation of quarterly forecast
- Organisation and preparation of yearly plan
3 Business Control
- Monitoring and reporting of CAPEX
- Allocation, monitoring and reporting of entity fees
- Leads yearly exercise of costs per test calculation and intercompany prices revision
- Definition and implementation of financial KPIs such as margin by services, clients, segments, etc.
- Identification and analysis of variation between actual performance vs. budget
- Generation and analysis of detailed P&L by entity, sub-business units and/or segments
4 Others
- M&A: Analysis and support
- Cost analysis and savings-plan
- Tracking and optimization of outsourcing costs
- Successfully completed studies in economics, business administration with a focus on data analysis;
- Dynamic, proactive personality with a strong sense of responsibility with regard to priorities and data quality;
- Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. oral and written communication skills, presentation skills);
- Strong problem-solver with “can-do” mentality, able to both pragmatically define solutions and capture and understand all relevant details when necessary;
- Advanced level of MS Office skills, especially in Excel;
- Strong analytical and communicative skills;
