The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience including:
-
3-5 years of experience working directly with a project/task management toolset
-
At least one year of experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian products as a power user or admin
-
Experience in Windows environments and supporting the Atlassian toolset from a stability and performance perspective
-
Ability to write custom JQL (JIRA Query Language)

Core Java, XML, SQL experience
-
Solid understanding of the SDLC and project management methodologies
-
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment

Able to analyze and review current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement
-
Highly organized, you’re someone who loves to keep data nice and clean

Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively share knowledge with internal and external customers

Install, configure, maintain, and enhance the Atlassian systems that we use to manage work

Recommend operational efficiencies, eliminate unnecessary work efforts and remove unwanted complexities; create and implement new procedures and workflows

Ensure systems are stable, available and that user issues are addressed in a timely manner

Work closely with all teams to align requirements where possible and to introduce new concepts and approaches to problems

Create JIRA projects, queries and reports as needed

Work with JIRA to enable custom workflows, screens, fields and dashboards

Develop solutions extending Atlassian REST services and JIRA plugins using the Atlassian SDK
-
Manage system access across groups to ensure security compliance and maintain best practices
-
Training end users on JIRA features during project deployments and with ongoing support
