Java Web Developer

Requirements:
- Experience in Java Web Development JEE (JSPs, tag libraries, Servlets, Filters)
- Knowledge of Java web containers (e.g. Tomcat, Jetty)
- Experience in Object Orientated Programming
- TDD (JUnit and mock frameworks, e.g.: Mockito) and Refactoring
- Maven
- GIT
- Unix shell – basics Orly
- RESTful Web Services
- Use of IntelliJ or Eclipse
- Spring or Google Guice
- Experience of writing automated tests
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working in a Scrum Agile environment
- Good understanding of Web protocols and Web caching
- Experience of a Commercial or Open Source Web CMS platform (e.g. Adobe AEM) will be a plus
- Working understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS will be a plus
Responsibilities:
- Hands on development building additional functionality for IG’s global websites (in accordance with the Marketing Technology Architecture)
- Working in a team of developers who maintain and build Web Site features, Web Services and CMS capabilities
- Contributing to technical discussions within the wider Websites team
- Working with QA in London and Front –end Developers in London and Cracow to ensure that work delivered is to a high quality
