Job purpose:
Steria is managing and proposing a complete IT Service Management solution to its customers based mainly in Europe. We are now working on a new release of the software. In this context, a new solution for operational Reporting and Dashboards needs to be set-up, from the architecture design to the delivery and support.
On the Software Developer position you will work on all stages of project’s software development life-cycle and take an active part in designing and developing our existing products as well as planning new product’s modules and technologies. You will act as part of a team (about 4 people) taking responsibility for providing a development service, whether as part of a testing project, within a managed testing service.
- Participating in the design, development, implementation, installation, and testing of custom and HP applications software and interfaces.
- Investigating user problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions.
- Documenting problems and resolutions for future reference.
Required Qualitie:
- Experience with Java / JavaScript language and Oracle, SQL databases. Experience in Windows and Unix environment (shell, DB driver)
- Technical Degree - in engineering, preferably in the specialization of software, telecommunications or electronics will be appreciated
- Very good knowledge of English,
- Professional approach to work, strong sense of responsibility to the customer
