Our Client is a worldwide financial and fund investment services holding company that is setting up a new IT department in Krakow. Currently we are looking for Candidates interested in the position of:
Java Development Manager
Kraków

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years Java development experience in enterprise environment or equivalent (including team leading/ project management)
- Development in service-based architecture REST services model preferred
- 2 years (or project equivalent) of SQL development under Oracle
- A good understanding of leading IT technologies in particular J2EE, RDBMS and cloud development
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to participate in design of software and understand end-to-end software delivery in enterprise environment
- Understanding of enterprise development issues scaling, concurrency, threading, performance testing
- Use of Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
- Knowledge/experience with JMS and MQ
- Use of stored procedures under Oracle
- Experience in designing/developing cloud based software
- Financial services knowledge would be appreciated
- Energetic, eager to learn and embrace change
Responsibilities:
- Working on an Agile Team on digitization applications supporting EMEA specific accounting for daily valuation of collective investments
- The person in this role will be completely hands-on and will work with cross-functional teams
- Being competent in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
- Working independently with moderate input from manager
- Multi-tasking in a faced paced environment while producing detailed and accurate output
