Responsibilites
Your job will involve:
- Developing code for the service-layer of a large-scale rich internet application
- Being a part of a high-performing team on a high-profile project
- Collaborating closely with the Business, Client-Side Developers, Quality Assurance and
User Experience professionals
- Mastering state-of-the-art technologies and a complex business domain
- Solving challenging problems in elegant ways
- Sharing knowledge across the project team
- Taking pride in the quality of software delivered for each development iteration
Requirements
- Java language (Java 5 and above)
- Experience with multi-threading and concurrency issues
- Clean coding skills and problem solving ability
- Fundamentals of computing science including data structures and algorithms
- Unit testing / testing frameworks (JUnit / JMock / EasyMock / JMockit etc)
- Familiar with web-services (RESTful)
- Command line tools (Linux or Windows)
- Knowledge of design patterns and refactoring techniques
- Experience in using frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and relational databases/SQL
- Experience with source control systems (eg. Svn, git) and building systems (eg. maven, ant)
