We are looking for:
Java Developer
Location: Wrocław
Main responsibilities:
- Implementing change requests and new features.
- Active participating in technical discussions.
- Implementing new functionalities in Java SE, Java EE, Web Services, PL/SQL.
- Implementing changes across multiple tiers – from the Java application through to the back-end databases.
- Cooperation with multinational, distributed English-speaking team on daily basis.
Key technical skills:
- Experienced developer (5 -> 8+ years minimum) in software development.
- Primary skill sets – Java, Oracle, Linux.
- Knowledge and understanding of current best practices in Core Java and J2EE development.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle.
- Very thorough understanding of the Java technology fundamentals and design patterns used in real time transaction processing systems.
- Good experience in building distributed caching systems.
- Extensive experience in messaging (EMS, MQ Series).
- Extensive experience working with distributed and enterprise systems, SOA.
- Good experience in RDBMS.
- Experience in high performance and high availability systems.
- English language skills to business standard.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development highly desirable.
Additional Experience:
- Extensive experience in fixed income trade capture, front to back trade flow, and complete trade and position management.
- Experience with Coherence and it’s runtime environment.
- Bloomberg TOMS experience.
- Experience working with sockets.
