Java Developer/Analyst

Responsibilites
- Work as a member of distributed agile team taking care of development and support for existing IT system.
- Participate in new features development for the existing system - do coding, unit testing, develop test scenarios and support further release phases.
- Participate in integration and production environment support - analyze reported problems, communicate by mail, instant messenger and phone with other team members and testers in different locations and time zones (US, UK and India).
- Actively communicates with the project stakeholders to understand, clarify business requirements and transform them to technical specifications.
- Participates in development of the test acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Consults developers on requirements.
- Actively participates in distributed Agile process.
Requirements
Skills Required:
- Java programming experience
- Knowledge of Spring
- Knowledge of JMS
- Experience in identifying and documenting client needs, internal structures, procedures, workflows and systems and defining and executing test strategy.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Design principles
- Basic, practical knowledge of SQL
- Web technologies (JavaScript)
- Experience in test script automation
- Unit testing
- Linux, shell scripting
- Analytic and detail-oriented
- Very good spoken and written English
Additional Skills/Knowledge (optional):
- Knowledge of capital markets, finance and investment banking
- Experience in Spring Integration or/and knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns
- Groovy
- Experience in JUnit/ Unit Testing and Design Patterns
- Knowledge of Use-case driven requirements development
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, Jira and other web-based documentation/knowledge management platforms a plus
- Experience in working with remote client and vendor resource
