The Techical Support Manager will take a lead role in the buildout of a new office space to support nearly 300 additional staff, working closely with Groupon’s EMEA Network and Systems Engineering teams to create a high quality, standards compliant, and fully supportable environment.
As this project completes, manage the transition to ‘business-as-usual’ support.
Provide effective leadership of the assigned support services staff, providing day-to-day line management, support and development for a team 2 staff in the Warsaw office. With a strong technical background and hands-on service desk experience, they will expertly handle escalations and assist staff with difficult support tickets. Process-orientated and SLA-driven, they will help refine and develop helpdesk processes and support the EMEA Support Services Manager with strategic planning.

1-3 years of experience in a leadership role as a Team Leader in IT support in a corporate environment (200+ users)

Experience in leading IT teams within customer focused environments

Strong leadership skills with an open, supportive style and willing 'to operate in the trenches', leading from the front

Excellent communication, customer management and interpersonal skills

Experience in a call centre environment preferred

Strong planning and organisational skills, attention to detail, results oriented, passionate about delivering exceptional service, stress tolerant

An ITIL qualification would be useful
