Job Description
The Reporting Specialist performs data analysis and reporting for various functions and services within our Client's global IT Support group. As such s/he also identifies reporting requirements and contributes to the development of corresponding tools.
- Develop and support a Business Intelligence system for the global IT Support function
– Develop a strong understanding of the reporting requirements for various functions and services and convert these requirements to a robust reporting solution
– Monitor automatic data load jobs from source systems into central data warehouse
– Monitor correctness of reports that are automatically provided
– Facilitate master data management (e.g. assignment of staff to right groups for proper break down of performance data to different groups)
- Act as the point of contact for how-to questions about self-reporting capabilities
- Create new reports based on business requirements (and changes existing reports)
- Run advanced analysis on consolidated data based on more sophisticated inquiries
- Clearly communicate findings and methodology to internal clients through a variety of modes, e.g., internal memos, PowerPoint packs, Excel reports, and verbally
- University degree, preferably with focus on IT
- General knowledge of relational databases and data analysis/manipulation techniques (SQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server BI technology (in particular Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services)
- In-depth knowledge of MS Excel and Access with working knowledge of PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Server
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills (C1 - CEFR or equivalent)
