IT Software Asset Manager

As IT Software Asset Manager you'll be joining our in-house corporate IT department and become an important part of our global team by supporting internal stakeholders with recommending effective software solutions within organization
Responsibilities:
- Renew maintenance and support for engineering/enterprise software
- Cooperate with Procurement department in terms of purchasing new licenses
- Maintain software inventories to reflect current state of entitlements worldwide
- Maintain good relationship with external vendors and internal stakeholders
- Analyze usage reports to rationalize contracts
- Coordinate workload across the Engineering Apps team
- Handle escalations from team and customers
- Member of the Change Control Board for Partner Management to help promote consistent practices across the category teams
- Liaison with Tier 1 to promote Partner Mgmt processes (through Knowledge base article reviews and education on misrouted tickets)
- Provide mentoring to staff
- Admin tasks - approve timesheets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in IT departments
- Fluency in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic excel skills
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous working experience within ServiceNow
- Willingness to join occasional after-hours calls
- Knowledge on software licensing models
- Previous working experience within Oracle
