Mars Information Services is the Information Technology (IT) department of Mars which supports and develops the global IT applications and infrastructure of Mars Inc. Our teams are truly multicultural and a strong team spirit is driving them. We design, develop and support global applications that power growth and enable our businesses to run their operations efficiently.
This is a cross-segment role with accountability for all local IT infrastructure services across multiple sites in 1 or more countries with a team of 4 or more direct reports. The role works closely with other IT service managers, leading activities at a regional or global level to drive increased collaboration, alignment & service improvements across all site teams.
- Leading a team to deliver all on-site IT infrastructure services for multiple sites, including end user desk side support, asset lifecycle management & local application hosting
- Ensuring all IT services are delivered within agreed Service Level Agreements
- Driving continuous improvement of services, to both increase efficiencies & ensure alignment with changing business needs
- Line management of a team of 4 or more direct reports, including possible remote associates
- Accountability for a number of vendor-managed services
- Planning & managing a budget of approx. $2m
- Accountability for at least 1 regional service stream (virtual team of 4-8 associates focused on defining, measuring & improving a specific service at a regional level)
- As part of the regional Site Infra leadership team, contributing to local infrastructure strategy through taking part in & leading specific projects at regional level
- 5+ years experience in IT service management
- Education: Graduate degree level
- IT project management or similar
- Experience managing IT change within a business context
- Experience dealing with people/customers at different levels of the business
- Good broad understanding of infrastructure technology
- ITIL certification is preferred, but not essential
- Language: English and Polish advanced
