The FedEx IT department is searching for an IT Service Support Representative in its Process and Project Management Team.
This people person will be employed full-time in the newly created FedEx Service Center in Krakow – Poland and managed remotely from the EMEA HQ location in Brussels – Belgium.
She/he will be responsible for the administrative support regarding the IT Accounts Payable Process
• Support about 35 Managers located across EMEA, main locations/markets are HQ Belgium, France, Germany, United Kingdom and Italy
• Invoice verification for selected commodities, inital focus on Telecommunication invoices for the major markets (France, UK, Germany, Italy)
• Working with PeopleSoft modules for Accounts Payable
• Working with all IT departments
• Being able to communicate to vendors in either German or French (Italian as an option)
• Example of activities are;
o Verification of invoice amounts against contractual agreements
o Follow-up invoicing questions with IT managers and/or vendors
o Suggest and implement process improvements in the Accounts Payable process (reduction of number of invoices, invoice consolidation, automation of verification, ...)
o Analysis on spending of selected commodities
o Assist the IT Planning & project analyst in the Vendor Management process
In addition the selected candidate will assist and be the back-up of the IT Planning & Project Analyst, located in the same office. Also the selected candidate will assist the Process and Project Management Team and the IT management in other added value processes where required.
Job Requirements
Essential experiences
• Fresh graduate or up to 6 months professional experience
• Business degree (economics, business administration)
Essential skills
• Fluent in English
• Communicative level of at least one other European language (either French, German or Italian)
• Self starter, being able to work independently
• Communicative
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong analytical skills
• MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Bright and ability to think out of the box
• Pro-active, flexible and being able to multitask
Desired skills and experience
• Local language (being able to work in the Krakow Service Center)
• Experience in an international envirenment (professional and/or educational)
• Understanding of the IT environment
• Self-learner
• Working knowledge of MS SharePoint
