IT Security Consultant (System/Network Hardening)

The Role:
- Review and development of security framework, information security policies, processes / procedures and guidelines on an ongoing basis
- To conduct security risk management exercise
- To conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration tests
- To conduct information security awareness training
The Candidate:
- Possess degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Systems
- Relevant working experience in the area of security governance, audit etc.
- Experience with Infrastructure Security Hardening (Networks, Systems, Databases)
- Sound knowledge of host security solutions, such as host firewalls, host IPS, tripwire etc.
- Experienced in the following security technologies: firewall, VPN, remote access, IDS/IPS, threat management, web content filtering, log correlations, data loss prevention, DDOS protection
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating System; UNIX/Linux and Cisco IOS
- Experienced in configuration and networking technologies e.g. SCCM, TCP/IP, Juniper
- Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot complex issues
- Scripting experience
