IT Operations Specialist is highly knowledgeable within designated IT area (Network, O365, AD, Citrix, MS Servers) of responsibility and applies that knowledge toward broad and diverse assignments. Person within role plans and coordinates activities related to the design, development, implementation, and integration of IT solutions. IT operations specialists provide technical support, advice, and assistance to consumers and businesses with technical, hardware, and software system problems. Additional Senior Specialist analyzes, evaluates, and proposes recommendations innovative solutions.
- Providing first and second line support for users on a range of core IT support issues and business applications, maintaining KPI and quality levels
- Day to day company network management and development
- Perform regular analysis of network connectivity through the LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Provide Tier I\II support for networking issues.
- Generate and analyze Infrastructure reports
- Resolving and escalating and monitoring of issues, liaising to identify solutions
- Supporting end user device management, including working with International teams on business changes and incidents
- Maintaining the continuity of computer devices and computer software.
- Failure diagnostics and service planning, replacement of components on a daily basis.
- Current administrative activity in the field of solutions based on Microsoft products
- Cooperation with external suppliers in the scope of coordinating the implementation, maintenance and service activities
- Active participation in projects using IT infrastructure and applications
- Min 5 years’ experience in IT department
- Working experience with Cisco/HP switches and routers
- Working experience years working with firewalls e.g. Fortigate, PaloAlto etc.
- CCNA is required (Routing & Switching)
- A thorough understanding of VLANs and dynamic routing protocols
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise wireless solutions
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise routing and switching solutions
- Experience supporting and implementing different types of WAN connections and VPN technologies
- Configuring SNMP monitoring, traps, etc. to support network management
- Understanding of Infrastructure (Network, VM, Servers, Laptops)
- Knowledge of Microsoft O365 services
- Good knowledge of Windows 7/10 systems in the administration and maintenance of workstations
- Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
- Ability to learn new technologies and work as part of a team as well as individually
- Ability to work under time pressure, independence in emergency situations
- Good English
- Strong communication skills
- CCNA Security is a plus
- Citrix NetScaler support and administration is a plus
