As an IT Business Analyst, you'll be joining the Jacobs Information Technology organization and contribute to our success as an important member of our global team by driving the future enhancements, development and improvement of IT Procurement and IT Asset Management business processes and systems. The qualified candidate will manage the end-to-end process of gathering business requirements, developing project plans with key stakeholders and technical teams and reporting on projects’ status.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders, process owners, and other decision makers
- Analyze system data and metrics to inform management of system and process improvement opportunities – Service Now system is our main tool.
- Develop and maintain technical and functional requirements with stakeholders and process owners
- Develop and maintain project plans; monitor and track project activity and milestones and create reporting on project status to stakeholders
- Determine operational and process gaps to improve and optimization the Jacobs procurement and asset management platforms
- Construct workflow charts and RACI diagrams of current and future state
- Create and maintain Knowledge Articles and Process Diagrams to inform teams of process and operational information
Demonstrated analytical experience and process improvement background (ideally in the IT Procurement / IT Asset Management area)
Experience with Service Now (as developer, administrator, analyst, or super user) – strongly preferred but not critical
Understanding of systems design, test, development and delivery methodologies
Familiar with ITIL framework and the interdependencies of IT disciplines
Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and with others
Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
