In Business Analysis Team we say that we “eat change for breakfast”. This job offers many challenges within a dynamic work environment. Acting as liaison between the Business and IT gives you a constant opportunity to learn something new almost every day. In this position you will primarily be responsible for the area of applying IT solutions to processes critical to EMEA business operations. The scope of the role gives you exposure to senior leaders in the business. You will also broaden your perspective and IT awareness by cooperating closely with IT Service Providers.
- Acting as a liaison between the business/process owner and IT to coordinate the delivery of IT solutions to the business
- Eliciting, validating and translating customer requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization
- Following best practices and recognized standards of Business Analysis; i.e. published by International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
- Providing complete analysis, design and documentation of new and existing business processes
- Playing a critical role as BA in medium to large projects and /or leading smaller sized initiatives (projects, enhancements, consultations)
- Coordinating and/or conducting IT trainings or educational sessions
- Acting as a key contact for customers in the specific area of expertise
- Providing consultative support by developing innovative solutions that effectively drive new opportunities to deliver value to the customers, business, and potentially our suppliers
- Acting as a facilitator in regards to communication between different organizational units
- Sharing your experience and cooperating with other members of the team on business analysis and/or project management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Analysis (i.e. following IIBA practices)
- Experience in Project Management would be a plus
- Experience in business process modelling and gaps analysis
- In depth knowledge in areas and techniques of business process modeling (e.g. BPMN, Workflows), system design (UML, including modeling tools i.e. Ms Visio) and broad knowledge of technologies supporting the business
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate
