Capgemini Infrastructure Services is one of the biggest outsourcing service providers in Poland. IS has achieved great success and grown rapidly since the establishment of our first service center in Krakow in 2004. In 2006, we opened a second center in Katowice and in 2012 a third center in Opole. Today, our team of 1,600 professionals delivers IT outsourcing services to 40 clients in 20 languages.
The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and maintain a high level design plan for the overall logical and technical customer IT architecture as well as provide technical leadership and consulting across the organization from strategic decision making down to the project planning level. He/she will gain organizational commitment for all high-level infrastructure plans and will initiate and participate in the various projects to evaluate technologies and methods for implementing these plans.
- Maintaining in depth knowledge of the organization’s strategic business plans
- Providing architectural consulting expertise, direction and assistance to the various stakeholders as requested
- Analyzing existing processes and proposing points for improvement on security, availability and costs
- Documenting and developing in-depth knowledge of the organization’s existing IT architecture, infrastructure and technology portfolio
- Developing and managing an infrastructure capacity plan
- Conducting research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development
- Developing, documenting, recommending and communicating plans for investing in IT infrastructure, including analysis for cost reduction opportunities
- Holding the liaison responsibility between business, users and IT
- Higher education or equivalent through work experience at required level
- Experience and knowledge in SOA architecture principles
- Experience in relevant frameworks (TOGAF) and relevant methodologies (e.g. UML)
- TOGAF certification
- Knowledge and understanding of development, service management, project management and quality management methodologies
- Expert knowledge on common quality standards (e.g. ISO9001) and process improvement approaches (e.g. CMMi)
- Knowledge of auditing and interviewing techniques
