IT Application Manager – Workday

As IT Application Manger you are responsible for the design, integrity, and quality of an IT solution delivered to the Business. Responsible that IT solutions/ service provides required functionality and meets cost expectations of business. Contributes to the project set-up and delivery as well as to service operations optimization.
Your responsibilities
- Establish a working relationship with stakeholders, understanding their need for IT application services, and managing the introduction of new services, service improvements, and (eventually) service reductions and retirements.
- Partners with Corporate HR areas to translate line HR and/or end users requests into business requirements; demonstrates understanding of what is and is not possible to help set realistic expectations both locally and globally
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand the business requirements, translates into high level design documents, develops solutions e.g. Workday or system configurations or integrations.
- Define and coordinate delivery of new services or improvements to the quality of the service and keep it aligned with the business needs.
- Plan, execute and control IT budget.
- Agree and define necessary OLAs and SLAs.
- Assisting in major incident & critical situation resolution, providing input and expertise to solutions for any incident, change or project with a major impact.
Your background
- Experience of working with HR HCM applications
- Experience of working with Workday (certification nice to have)
- Proven experience of working with IT service management concepts (ITIL)
- Good organization, time management, decision making and negotiation skills
- Responsibility for end-to-end delivery, independence, discipline
- Ability to contribute with good team spirit, collaboration, and customer focus
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and technologies
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken)
