IS Application Specialist

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in IT environment
• Experience in administrating and operating finance systems (e.g. ERP, SAP, Hyperion etc.)
• Solid knowledge in MS SQL Server and Windows server administration
• Experience in SQL querying languages (T-SQL)
• Fluency in English
• Dedication to grow into technical application support in a niche system area
• Willingness to work over hours in the predefined periods (quarter close)
• Knowledge in finance, taxes and/or finance applications is a plus
• Advanced excel skills will be a plus
• Knowledge about Longview platform or any financial reporting consolidation tools is a plus
• Multi-cultural working environment experience is a plus
• Being fast learning and action oriented
• Self-organized, responsible
• Having strong customer/user orientation
• Willing to obtain deep technical knowledge about Longview product;
• Having very good communicational skills;
• Being a team player

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing system for financial closing and ensuring smooth operation (global system admin role)
• Incident management, solving technical problems by close cooperation with Third Party supplier (Longview)
• Strongly support ABBs countries to onboard to the platform including optimizing system integration and best practice of using the system
• Evaluate new releases from supplier, suggest implementation plan and run technical upgrades, releases in ABB environment, assess the impact of changes and related risks. Roll-out of software patches, bug fixes and releases to different environments (Dev, Test, Production)
• Application / system monitoring to support for smooth operation and incident resolution (track, trace, log and document)
• Ensure high quality user support and user access management in close cooperation with internal Service Desk
• Support testing process in cooperation with BA internal person
• Responsible for compliancy of the system including collection of compliance evidences and communication with auditors
• System documentation maintenance
