Inventory Manager
The Inventory manager will need to be a strong leader and distribute daily tasks within the team and ensure all deadline are met. The candidate will need to be able to make decisions quickly, ensuring the best solution is commercially beneficial to the company.Workloads will need to be distributed and delegated within the teams to cover all areas and ensure we are working to company targets and deadlines. Managing 5-6 mailboxes and ensuring all are monitored and distributed daily within the team. We will also require full recruiting of a large inventory team, and close working relationship with the local recruitment agency to ensure we have the right team and staff for the role.
Objectives:
• To ensure all stop sales are loaded accurately and to deadline dates
• To ensure all special offers are loaded accurately and within deadline dates
• To ensure contracts are loaded correctly by buying team
• Working closely with Hotels, suppliers and buyers
• Liaising with Operations and Customer Relations on overbooking situations
• Losses and errors are accounted for by team
• Delegation within the teams and prioritisation of work loads
• Amendments to existing contracts and bookings
• Copy over of contracts and process
• System testing on contracts system / New developments
• Reporting and weekly updates
Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of I-vector (Contracting system) full training will be provided
• Excel/Word proficient
• Fluent English speaker
• Excellent communication skills
