HR Transformation Project Manager
This is a new role that is going to support transformation and change projects in Aon across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region and lead them from the HR perspective.
Responsibilities of HR Transformation Project Manager:
- Create and own the HR workstream/s for relevant change / transformation / integration initiatives that cross country borders in the EMEA region, in consultation / collaboration with local HR and business leaders as required, including:
- Determining impact on people, roles and structure
- Understanding and managing interaction / potential conflicts with legal and other agreed terms and conditions in countries where potentially impacted colleagues / teams are located;
- Co-ordinate with local HR to track and monitor HR deliverables in countries, including tracking risks and escalating issues that may prevent timely execution;
- Interaction with European Works Council – planning, creating and delivering presentations and co-ordinating with local HR and local Works Councils in countries as required;
- Planning and coordination of sensitive activities such as knowledge transfer and migration, selection / notification / termination together with local HR teams (who will remain responsible for execution of these processes)
- Ensuring the quality, completeness and accuracy of the HR aspects of the project / programme documentation
- Reporting and analytics – maintains / updates master roster for accuracy on status, decisions, org structure, reporting relationships, titles, cost centers, end dates, transfers, joiners etc.
- Liaise with Finance and other internal stakeholders to track financial aspects, including cost estimates for severance payments and other data as requested
- Ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed of relevant aspects of programmes, including HR leaders and the wider HR community, provide subject matter expertise on programme management to the HR community
- Develop standard operating procedures for repeatable aspects of change / transformation / integration initiatives, e.g. re-badging, on- / off- / near-shoring, in consultation with local HR
Requirements:
- University degree / BSc in HR/Economics or Business Administration;
- At least 5 years working experience in SSC/BPO environment;
- At least 10 years of experience in HR & Project Management;
- Good knowledge of project management tools and methodologies;
- Sound knowledge of HR legal regulations across EMEA would be a strong asset;
- Experience in leading HR workstreams in restructure projects, migration/transformation projects and change management initiatives is a must (preferably at least 2-3 years);
- Highly organized self-starter with exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, communication and people management skills;
- Proven ability and experience to work on cross-functional and cross-cultural project teams;
- Ability to work independently with little direction, including the ability to manage ambiguity and the political aspects of change;
- Ability to establish and maintain credibility and excellent client relationships across many different functions and organization levels;
- Experience of partnering with key stakeholders to communicate, influence and overcome challenges;
- Ability to handle conflicting priorities and work under time pressure;
- Very good presentation and call handling skills;
- Fluent in written and spoken English language;
- Any other European language would be an asset;
- Proficient MS Office skills;
