Job description
As an HR Specialist, you will provide support functions related to the day-to-day operations in the Polish office and other locations. Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Be instrumental in the successful roll-out of an ambitious international hiring campaign for positions in Europe and U.S., participating in the entire recruitment life-cycle
- Act as an employee advisor and provide them support when needed
- Provide accurate and efficient support in all the HR activities of Europe and U.S. offices
- Looking at best practices and bring-up ideas to implement them at company
- Monthly payroll preparation (report on leaves, changes in address, etc.)
- Maintaining employee records for Poland and other locations including France and United States
- Benefits administration
- Orientation for new staff (Meal vouchers, Insurance, retirement, transportation)
- Maintaining our HRIS up-to-date
- Travel arrangements for staff and new starters
- Assisting in organizational training and development
- Researching and contacting external providers when needed, including payroll
- Defining HR processes such as training, onboarding, recruitment, among others
- Cooperating with recruitment process
You will be dealing directly with the Financial Controller in Poland, and with the HR team in Paris, NY and Mauritius and you will be reporting to the HR Director in Paris.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years previous administrative experience in the HR field
- Bachelor degree in HR/Administration/Business required
- Fluent in English is a must
- Knowledge of the French rules, regulations and language will be a plus
- Ability to interface with all levels of staff
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- International exposure
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Reliable
- Ability to communicate (oral and written) in positive and professional manner
- Autonomous and self-driven
- Ability to work well in an international start-up environment
- High proficiency with MS Word, Excel & Power Point
