The HR Services Professional solves complex HR-related queries from employees of Bayer subgroups, legal entities and service companies in Germany, which require specific HR knowledge and a high degree of policy interpretation as well as legal requirements in an individual HR process.
The HR Services Professional administers processes in accordance to the corporate or business policies and procedures, coaches HR Services Associates & peers in process areas of specialization and is responsible for the general administration of standardized HR processes, including the collaboration with in-and external interfaces.
- Drives and ensures an efficient transactional HR service delivery for processes in scope according to and in line with company policies and standards as well as HR process guidelines
- Handles complex individual queries from employees, managers, HR Business Partners or local HR departments of Bayer subgroups in Germany regarding transactional tasks related to HR processes in case they can not be resolved by HR Associates and acts as coach to HR Associates
- Proactively identifies (potential) service delivery issues by proposing appropriate actions to improve quality standards, metrics (including third party KPIs)
- Drives and steers the development, maintenance (incl. within HR systems) and improvement of a detailed knowledge management of designated HR processes and interfaces
- Has a solid overview about HR processes, ongoing initiatives in the HR community, project requests and developments within country and supports in HR administration as needed
- Ensures a smooth administrative support for HR related queries and takes ownership of the resolution of queries ensuring timely, accurate and value add responses;
- Delivers country specific training to HR services Associates & other HR Professionals and in general for onboarding of new colleagues
- Collaborates in internal projects where needed, to support an integrated HR service to country
- Acts as first contact point for questions related to compliance and data security within transactional HR processes
- High service delivery attitude and ability to persuade with good communication skills
- Completed higher education, preferably a university degree. Alternatively, an equivalent progressive experience across core HR functions in the position of an HR Associate
- Solid understanding of Human Resources and HR process administration
- Strong customer orientation with proven experience, service delivery management, HR process design and employee administration
- 2-5 years of professional experience in HR administration or in a Shared Services Environment
- Team player (m/f/d) with strong social skills
- Good knowledge of MS office package (incl. MS Excel)
- Knowledge of SAP/HR and/or SuccessFactors is a plus
- (Basic) knowledge of German labor law, German social security and relevant laws is a plus
- Fluency in German (minimum C1) and very good English language skills
