The Philips People Services Center Europe (PPSC Europe) is based in Piła, Poland and is part of Philips People Services (PPS). PPS is the Human Resources Shared Services organization of Philips. A team of HR professionals delivering HR Services to Philips employees and managers at all stages of the career cycle. PPS delivers cost-effective people services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working while delivering superior HR experiences by listening and acting on our customers’ feedback.
Your challenge:
Philips challenges you to use your communication skills to help colleagues from all over Europe with HR related questions. You will be the contact point for General Management, HR Managers and Employees. Embrace the challenges of communicating with at least 9 different countries while working in an international team.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage administration and payroll operations at Philips Shared Service organization for Germany and Austria
- Ensure policies, procedures and processes meet the requirements of internal control standards (ICS)
- Ensure proper design and execution of personnel data management, time management, organization management and payroll processes
- Manages integration activities related to admin and payroll
- Align with other department heads to deliver consistent HR services
- Coordinate the cooperation with outsourcing companies (3rd party providers)
- Provide leadership for admin and payroll team, maintain and monitor assigned resources including reporting and headcount budgeting
- Take care of team performance, KPIs, targets as well as coordinate the team development (performance appraisal, individual development, coaching, trainings)
- Participate in developing organization staffing plan that complies with the requirements to support the service delivery model
We are looking for people with:
- Graduate with Masters or equivalent degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant people management experience
- German payroll experience and/or labor legislation knowledge that is an additional asset
- Human Resource administration professional experience
- Fluent English language is essential (Polish is not essential)
- Knowledge of other European language (esp. German) is preferred
- Experience in HR Share Service Center is an additional asset
- Personal integrity when handling confidential information
- Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload
- Willingness to take ownership – leading change, be accountable for your goals
- Computer literacy essential
- Experience of Case Management tools and HR IT systems, such as SAP and Workday that is an additional asset
